Im new to layout hunting and would like any advice about towing.  The boat is "custom duck boat Co." two man layout.  I have never heard of this company, but there is a coast guard/mfg tag on the inside with this and other information.

There is a cleat located a/b 4 feet up on the nose of the boat, nothing to connect a tow rope to down at the nose.  I would attach a picture to help illustrate what im working with, but i cant get a picture that meets this sites requirements for low memory space or whatever.  Im assuming i will just give it the old college try, but if any of you guys that seem to layout hunt all the time have any advice id really appreciate it.

Any ideas/tips/advice for towing a layout would greatly be appreciated.

You could try to attach an eyebolt up front to tow it,  or tow it backwards like the banks 2 man layout.
